RAC Arena and ASM Global are closely following the federal and state governments’ management of COVID-19, and take our responsibility for the health and well-being of our patrons, clients and employees seriously. We have carefully planned for the reopening of business events to ensure we can work with our hirers to keep their guests safe. These measures include:
  • temperature checks at entry points
  • social distancing markers to remind guests to stay 2m apart
  • increased cleaning protocols
  • hand wash guidance placed in bathrooms
  • ensuring all working staff have completed the AHA Hospitality & Tourism COVID-19 Hygiene Course
  • continued rigorous adherence to ISO and food safety management standards within all culinary service
People with no respiratory symptoms do not need to wear a medical mask. However if you wish to wear a mask, you may.
We ask that hirers provide us with an accurate list of their guest names and contact information, in the unlikely instance that we need to provide that information to the Department of Health.
Yes, hand sanitiser stations will be provided in the function rooms.
Once they have carried out their two weeks in quarantine/isolation, then there is no reason why they cannot attend a function, as long as they are not feeling unwell.
It is highly unlikely that COVID-19 can be contracted through food and beverage. COVID-19 is a respiratory illness and the primary transmission route is through person-to-person contact and direct contact with respiratory droplets generated when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
In the unlikely event that new restrictions enforce the cancellation of your function, we will work with you to roll over your deposit to a new date to be used in the future.
There will be floor markers placed at entry points two metres apart, as well as digital signage inside and outside the function rooms to remind guests of the importance of social distancing and good hygeine. 
The rooms will have a deep clean before and after your function. During the event the room will be cleaned between sessions, and frequently touched surfaces will be routinely sanitised.
We will work closely with our Catering team to ensure your catering is served in a safe way to your guests, whilst still presenting at our high standard.

The deposit is roughly 50% of the total worth of the event, to be paid within 14 days of receiving the booking contract.  
Written notice is required for all function cancellations, with the period of notice provided determining the necessary cancellation fees and charges. In most cases we will offer you the opportunity to select an alternative date to which we will roll the deposit.

You sure can! This is the function space of champions with a maximum capacity of 13,000 for theatre style seating, 2,500 for a cocktail event and 1,650 for a sit down banquet. Get in touch to find out more through event.sales@racarena.com.au

You aren’t able to bring your own food for a function but that’s why we have our amazing in house-catering team! However, there is always exceptions to the rule so just ask our team when enquiring.  

We have an in-house AV team at the arena and they offer pretty competitive rates. However, we are more than happy to work alongside your preferred provider to make sure your function goes off without a hitch.
We have free venue Wi-Fi available for your guest’s general web browsing needs. However, if you’re looking for a faster and more secure network for your presentation, we can arrange that too.

Our car park, functions rooms, guest lifts and entrances are all fully accessible. We’ve also got the bathrooms sorted, with the restroom facilities on every floor being designed especially for guests with special needs.
