Final Tour for Tenor

Celebrate A Life in Music when the ‘little brother’ of the iconic Three Tenors, José Carreras reflects on his extraordinary career with a stunning show at Perth Arena on Wednesday 22 February 2017. Mr Carreras will be joined on stage by the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.

The intimate show is part of his final world tour and will take fans on a journey through the music that defined the life of one of the world’s greatest opera stars. 

With performances of songs that Mr Carreras loved as a child to the songs he performed as part of the legendary Three Tenors alongside Luciano Pavarotti and Plácido Domingo.

“These are songs that always move me when I hear them and that always enthuse me. In these songs, there is the passion, the emotion, a feeling in my heart and soul that I express with my voice,” says Mr Carreras.

A Life In Music will celebrate a very personal selection of music from the golden age of “La Belle Époque” along with many different styles and songs from diverse tastes in music, including Opera, Operetta and Musicals, such songs as ‘Nessun Dorma’, ‘O Sole Mio’, ‘My Way’ ‘Caruso’ and ‘Ave Maria’.

Mr Carreras will be joined by soprano Antoinette Halloran for the Perth performance alongside the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra.
