Perth Arena Snapchat will become active at an event for the first time when Harry Styles kicks off his Aussie tour in Perth on Saturday.
Over four million Australians are active on Snapchat each day and 71% of users are under 34 making it ideal for sharing Perth Arena’s story to a new audience.
Social media is the centre of Perth Arena’s communication channels. On Facebook, the venue has maintained a 30 minute response rate to fans around the clock for two years.
Snapchat allows users fans to view and interact with the venue by sharing their own stories.
The venue’s snapchat was planned and launched as a collaboration between Murdoch University work integrated learning students based onsite with the Perth Arena team.
