2019 GRAMMY Awards
Pop the champagne and get ready to celebrate! The nominations for the 61st GRAMMY awards have just been announced and we could not be more excited that some of our faves have made the list. Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar are in the running for Record Of The Year, Shawn Mendes has been nominated for Song Of The Year with “In My Blood”, Dua Lipa is looking like a shoo-in for Best New Artist, and we’ve got our fingers crossed for Post Malone going for Best Pop Solo Performance with “Better Now”. Bring on the GRAMMYs in February 2019!

Shawn Mendes
There’s no doubt that Shawn Mendes has been a busy boy! Most recently Shawn stole the show at the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Hearts were melting and all eyes were on him as he sang his new hit “Lost In Japan”. Mendes was surrounded by super models, but honestly who can concentrate on them when Shawn is around, are we right ladies?
But life hasn’t been all hunky dory for the Canadian super star. Rolling Stone recently wrote an article on Mendes, labelling him a “neurotic teen idol”. Shawn hit back at the article on Instagram saying “Of course I have my insecurities and struggles but that’s just one part of me. Sometimes the positive side of a story doesn’t always get fully told and I wish it had here.” Thanks for keeping it real Shawn!

Mumford & Sons
Mumford & Sons front man, Marcus Mumford sat down with Triple J this week to offer a little insight into the band’s first big hit, “Little Lion Man”. In the interview he revealed that the station was the only one in the world not to censor the swear words #Rebels

Post Malone
Who’s the first person when you think of fashion? Calvin Klein? Vivienne Westwood? Marc Jacobs? Well…yes. But what about Post Malone? Postie has teamed up with Crocs to create one hell of a shoe. They’re yellow. Have a barbed wire design. It’s everything you need in footwear. Drop 1 and 2 ran out the door, we’ve got our fingers crossed that third times the charm!

Post has also teased the release of new music before the end of the year. Although his tweet announcing the news didn’t fill us with confidence, a new hit will be at the top of our Christmas wish list!
