Wildcats Locked Into Finals

The Perth Wildcats have locked in an incredible 30th-consecutive NBL Finals appearance, with home playoff games to be held at Perth Arena.

The post-season streak puts the club among the world’s best sporting organisations of all-time, surpassing the achievements of all Australian and American professional teams.

The 2016 NBL Finals will be the Wildcats fourth post-season since moving to the state-of-the-art Perth Arena.

In the first three seasons at the new venue, the club has made two Grand Finals, and who could forget the 2014 championship-winning game in front 13,498 fans at the Arena.

Before final ladder positions are established this season, the Wildcats have one more big regular season test against historical rivals Adelaide, who have once again stormed into contention in recent weeks, on Sunday 14 February at Perth Arena.

Last time the 36ers visited Perth on a Valentine’s Day, the two teams produced one of the more memorable games in recent years with emotions boiling over as the final siren sounded.
