Drumroll please, the Golden Ticket for 2019 has been drawn! Our lucky winner Amanda is already looking forward to the best year yet – before it has even begun. After being diagnosed with cancer in 2017, Amanda made the decision to get out and experience more in life once she finished treatment, and attending concerts became the highlight of her 2019. After having entered the Golden Ticket raffle since 2013, this was a dream come true, and she is now eagerly awaiting a year full of shows in 2020 – especially So Pop! With plus one status shared between her husband and cousin, Amanda has a full year of music, sport and comedy ahead of her!
Since our opening in 2012, RAC Arena has been supporting charities through the Golden Ticket fundraiser. The raffle gives entrants the chance to win a double pass to each event at RAC Arena for a year, while raising money for a good cause. This year the proceeds went towards supporting The Salvation Army and Rotary Club of Perth. The money raised will go towards 4,500 meals for those who are homeless, 833 nights of crisis bed use, and 3 months of food provisions for the breakfast meal program.
We are proud to have raised $33,750 to go towards helping West Australians in need – while also giving one lucky fan a fabulous prize.
